No Bake Cookie Dough Bites

Who Doesn’t Love Cookie Dough?

One of my favorite desserts is cookie dough. That is why I made this recipe for all the cookie dough lovers!

This recipe is obviously safe to eat raw, so you don’t have to worry about possibly getting sick. I love having these in my freezer for an after dinner sweet treat. They store very well in the freezer and will last for months in there.

Personally, I prefer mine in the freezer. If you also store yours in the freezer allow them to sit out for 5 minutes before eating just to defrost a little. The refrigerator works too, I just prefer the freezer.

This is a super simple recipe. Everything gets combined into a bowl and rolled into balls.

This recipe is super versatile. You could add sprinkles, Oreos, nuts, literally anything to the cookie dough.

If you have a cookie scoop, that is super useful for this recipe. It helps to make sure all the bites are the same size. Although, it is not necessary. You could use a tablespoon measuring spoon or a normal spoon.

Substitutions:

Coconut sugar- any granulated sugar will work (white, brown, monk fruit).

Almond butter- any nut butter will work (cashew, sunflower, peanut).

I would NOT recommend substituting the applesauce or almond flour.

I love adding a mix of different chocolates. I normally do a chopped dark chocolate bar and chocolate chips. You could also even do white chocolate.

 Ingredients:

  • Applesauce

  • Coconut sugar

  • Almond butter

  • Almond flour

  • Chocolate

Recipe:

  • ¼ cup applesauce

  • ¼ cup coconut sugar

  • 1/3 cup almond butter

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Directions:

1.    In a bowl combine the applesauce, coconut sugar, and almond butter. Stir well.

3.    Add in the almond flour. Stir until a dough forms.

5.    Fold in the chocolate chips. Stir well.

7.    Take a cookie scoop or tablespoon measuring spoon and scoop out all the dough onto a plate.

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. The bites should last up to one week. You can store them in the freezer to last longer.
