Slutty Brownies
Three Layer Brownies
If you haven’t tried a slutty brownie recipe yet, it is a must make. These brownies are always a hit, and no one can ever tell they are vegan.
The base of the brownies is cookie dough then Oreos then brownie batter. If you wanted, you could also add chocolate chips or sprinkles to the brownie batter.
Cookie dough: any cookie dough will work. You could use store-bought cookie dough or make homemade cookie dough. I used vegan store-bought cookie dough for this recipe specifically, Sweet Loren’s.
Vegan butter: any vegan butter will work. You could also try liquid oil. If you aren’t vegan, traditional butter should work.
Sugar: I like to use coconut sugar as it is refined sugar free. Any granulated sugar will work such as monk fruit or white sugar.
Applesauce: I always use unsweetened applesauce. Ideally, you want the only ingredients to be water and apples. You can use sweetened applesauce; however, I find it to be sweet enough using unsweetened applesauce.
Almond butter: you can use any nut or seed butter of your choice. Be sure it is on the runnier side as compared to chunky.
Nondairy milk: I used unsweetened almond milk in this recipe. Any nondairy milk will work. If you aren’t vegan, traditional milk should also work.
Cacao powder: I like using cacao powder for the extra nutrients. Normal cocoa powder will also work.
Almond flour: I haven’t tested any other flours. I find the combination of the almond flour and all-purpose flour creates a really good texture for the brownies.
All-purpose flour: I haven’t tested any other flours. I find the combination of the almond flour and all-purpose flour creates a really good texture for the brownies.
Oreos: any sandwich cookie will work. You could also use any flavor of Oreos of your choice.

All-purpose flour
Oreos
Recipe:
Bottom layer:
·1 package of cookie dough
Middle:
·About 10 Oreos (enough to cover the cookie dough)
Top:
¼ cup vegan butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup applesauce
1/3 cup almond butter
¼ cup nondairy milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup cacao powder
½ cup almond flour
¼ cup all-purpose flour
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
2. Press the cookie dough into the pan so that the whole bottom of the pan is covered. Line the Oreos on top of the cookie dough so that all the cookie dough is covered with Oreos. Set aside.
3. In a small bowl melt the butter. Transfer to a larger bowl and add in the sugar, applesauce, almond butter, and nondairy milk. Stir to combine.
4. Add in the baking powder, cacao powder, almond flour, and all-purpose flour. Stir until everything is well incorporated. Pour the brownie batter on top of the Oreos and spread evenly.
5. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Make sure to allow the brownies to completely cool before eating/slicing (at least 30-45 minutes). I recommend storing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They should last up to one week in the refrigerator. If you try this recipe, please let me know your thoughts, I’d love to hear!
