Chocolate Sprinkle Valentine’s Day Cookies

One Bowl Cookies

If you’re looking for an easy, one bowl festive cookie to make this Valentine’s Day you have to try these. The base comes together super quickly, and you can customize the cookies however you want based on the sprinkles you use.

You could also add anything you want to the batter. For example, chocolate chips, more sprinkles, or M&Ms. I would love to hear any creations you come up with.

The cookie dough base recipe can be used for anything, not just Valentine’s Day cookies. You could roll the base into a cinnamon sugar mix, top with frosting, etc. This is always my go-to sugar cookie recipe whenever I need something quick + delicious.

Vegan butter: any vegan butter will work. You can also try liquid oil or normal butter if you aren’t vegan.

Nondairy milk: I always use unsweetened almond milk. Any nondairy milk will work. If you aren’t vegan, traditional milk should also work.

Sugar: I used white sugar in this recipe to ensure the dough didn’t change a different color. You could use any granulated sugar of your choice.

Vanilla extract: the vanilla gives the cookies an extra burst of flavor. You can omit if you want or use almond extract.

All-purpose flour: I haven’t tested any other flours in this recipe.

Sprinkles: any sprinkles will work. I bought my Valentine’s Day sprinkles from Target.

Chocolate: any chocolate will work. If you want to use the chocolate hearts I used, all you have to do is melt chocolate and add to a heart mold and allow to harden in the freezer. If you aren’t vegan, you could also buy the chocolate hearts from the grocery store.
